We are honored to have as our special dinner guests’ former Packer players Kevin Barry and Chris Francies, along with Chris’s wife Chandra Johnson-Francies. Read our guests’ bios below for more information about them.

Kevin Barry
Kevin Barry (#71)was an offensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers from 2002-2007. His high school ball was played at Washington Park in Racine, where he earned Wisconsin Player of the Year honors. He then took his talents to the University of Arizona. Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2002, Kevin was a dominant run blocker. He is most famous for the critical role he played as the 6th offensive lineman in the Packers’ signature “U-71” formation, named for Barry’s uniform number.
Off the field, Kevin has been a strong supporter of the Salvation Army and March of Dimes. In addition to participating in events for those organizations, he also has made numerous appearances at schools, youth clubs, hospitals, and nursing homes throughout Wisconsin. Along with fellow teammates, Kevin spent several days with soldiers and their families on the base of Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Chris Francies
Chris Francies (#83) was a wide receiver for the Packers from 2006-2008. Born and raised in Houston, TX, Chris played football, basketball and ran track at Cy-Press Falls High School. He played college football at Texas-El Paso. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2006. Chris caught two official passes from the great Brett Favre. He also caught passes from Aaron Rodgers. Francies also spent some time with the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers before playing in the Arena Football League for the Utah Blaze and Georgia Force .
Mr. Francies currently works in Quality Assurance at Nature’s Way in Green Bay, a dietary supplement company, and coaches football at Pulaski High School. He is married to his wonderful wife Chandra, has a beautiful baby girl, and is expecting another one on the way. He and his wife occasionally do respite care for foster kids on the weekends.
Chandra Johnson-Francies
Hailing from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Chandra Johnson-Francies played basketball, volleyball, and softball at Eau Claire North High School, earning a full D1 basketball scholarship to UWGB. While there, Johnson earned all-conference honors, multiple conference championships, and made four post-season appearances while playing under Kevin Borseth all four years. She was signed with the Los Angeles Sparks as an undrafted free agent in 2003 through 2005, then went on to play overseas in Greece.
Chandra currently works at Pulaski High School as a Special Education teacher and varsity assistant coach for the girls basketball team. She runs her own annual camp basketball camp for young girls, conducts private lessons for athletes, and spends time working at community events. She is married to Chris Francies. They have one daughter and are expecting another baby girl in early December.
